10 Days of Vengeance: day 1

Over the next ten days I will be putting up pics of the completed Angels of Vengeance commission army I painted. I want to take this opportunity to apologize to my client, who has had his army delayed due to my life being a train wreck at the moment. At the same time I want to thank him for his patients during my time of crisis.

So here is the first squad of Thunderhammer and Stormshield Terminators.

Until tomorrow!

  1. What pulled me in was the fact you had a cyclone launcher on a CC Termie, never seen that before.

  2. Very nice. Nice limited palette of colors combined with nice shading and highlighting to bring out the details. Two Thumbs Up.

  3. Thanks for the comments guys!

Warflake, that is because you don't see many Dark Angels and their successors around very often.

  5. Very much like the palette: the red and black is very brooding. The accents and highlights really help bring out the character of the miniatures. Nice job!

@Warflake: there's one on a LC dude in the DA codex, makes more sense to stick it on a TH/SS termie methinks. but i think a heavy flamer'd be better for cc anyway. oh well.
