Team Megalodon Camo sneak peek

I decided to change main color a bit and the bramble camo from black to green. I think it has turned out pretty nice.

Here is the original from the Badab War article back in Rogue Trader days.

  1. That looks really good Jim. You did a real good job with the brambles. I also like the subtle shadowing and the more "traditional" camo and coloring.

  4. Nice work! Like the way you have edged the green, and the whole scheme itself looks good (not too overstated)

  5. Beautiful. I didn't think that you were going to post a wip, but I'm really glad that you did. Good choice, leaving the eagle heads without camo; having said that, I don't think you need to worry about the same for the chest plate. It looks perfect as is. The color choices are also perfectly suited for that very tricky notion of camo'ed power armor.
    Beautiful work.

  6. I actually really like that camo. That could have gone horribly wrong, but you've made it look great.

  7. Nice camo- looks much more camo-y than the other example. Plus the brambles look sharp!

  8. Wow, thanks for the feedback, I am happy you guys like the way it turned out!

B.smoove, yeah I was going to wait, but after chatting with you and looking at the mini some more I though I's try to get some quick feedback.

I am glad I did. The mini is almost done now, I should have him posted up this evening.

    Cheers,
    Jim

  9. Holy Emperor that looks awesome. That's what a Biel-Tan Eldar would choose for a paint scheme for a maine if said Eldar played WH40k.

I personally would invert the colors on the chest eagle (but keep the 'vines').

This is the most awesome marine I've seen in a long while that wasn't intended as a showcase model.

  10. Thanks Flekkzo! I will accept the high praise! ;-)

I should have the finished model up later today. My camera needs a good charging, once that is done I will post the finished mini!
