Interesting list. Spawn are awesome and underestimated. Most people dont realize they are beasts and can be across the board asap. I think switching the chainfist into the plasma squad would even your termies out a bit. the melta squad already has 3 meltas and would still have the fist to fall back on.
ReplyDeleteGood strategy is to turbo boost your bikes in front of the spawn to give them a cover save. turn 2 the spawn are in the mix and you can clean up with your CSM. Good call on MoT, for your DP. Think really hard on your deplyment of your predator. LC sponsons are a big investment. Honestly id probly drop it for a vindicator with daemonic posession. I think they are around the same points. You lose range but you gain a fire magnet. People are scared sh*tless by those things and will waste a ton of firpower on them. Plus you can move it 6 without any shooting penalty. Kind of a toss up really.
Thanks for the great feedback. I could drop one lesser daemon and replace the pred with a possessed Vindicator. Which isn't a bad choice at all, in fact you are probably right it is the better choice.

ReplyDeleteSecondly, I like the list because it is something completely different and unexpected. Also, it is amazing how long the very annoying and ugly Spawn can tie up even the best assault troops.
I don't have any of the ugly brutes, but if I did, I would field a few....as it is, I am gonna have to scrape the barrel clean to field a list..
...the problem of starting all over again in this hobby.
